ExpiryVault Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 February 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding legal agreement between you and Shammuspee (“I,” “me,” or “my”) and govern your access to and use of the ExpiryVault mobile application and related services (the “App”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1) Who can use ExpiryVault
You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your country. If you use the App on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for that business.
2) The App’s purpose
ExpiryVault helps you track expiry dates for groceries, medicines, and household items. It is a tool for organization and management. I am not responsible for any spoiled items or health issues arising from the use or misuse of the App.
3) Accounts and sign-in
ExpiryVault does not require an account. It is designed for offline use.
4) Your data and backups
ExpiryVault works with local/on-device storage (offline use).
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for maintaining backups/exports (using the App's export features).
If you delete the App, reset your device, or lose your device, you will lose your data unless you have exported it elsewhere.
5) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where the law allows.
- Interfere with the App’s normal operation or security.
6) Intellectual property
The App (including its design, branding, logos, and software) is owned by Shammuspee and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute the App or any part of it unless I give written permission.
7) Updates and changes
I may update or change the App at any time, including adding, removing, or modifying features. I do not guarantee the App will always be available or error-free.
8) Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, or business arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App.
10) Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. I may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
11) Changes to these Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. If I make changes, I will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
